The Importance of Breastfeeding In Child's Immunity
This event aims to spread awareness on the importance of breastfeeding for mothers in their last trimester and new moms and parents by providing up-to-date evidence-based information and recommendations on lactation and infant feeding.
Breastfeeding problems like low supply or shallow latching can be quite frustrating and stressful for new moms. Moreover, new mothers may constantly worry about whether their breast milk is good enough, or whether their baby is getting enough of it.
In this webinar we will explore:
- The golden hour after birth
- The importance of skin to skin contact
- Basics of antibodies and how does it help in the development of a baby during the first six months?
- How does breast milk help in improving the immunity of newborn babies?
- Does breastfeeding help in improving the microbiomes in the baby skin and baby's gut?
- How does it help with the bond between parents and their babies?
- Nutrition and self-care for the breastfeeding mother
Please join us at this webinar with our guest Alona Hodik, an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) | Childbirth Educator expert who will help expecting and new moms with their concerns and worries about breastfeeding.

As a mother of 2 children, balancing the work and health of family members is a challenging task. Especially during a new work from home environment which adds to the increased stress level among mothers. So we have introduced a new feature on our website where our members get access to consult doctors for their family healthcare concerns from the comfort of their home, instead of browsing dr. internet and getting overwhelmed with information and anxiety issues.
